Network-enabled hybrid cloud
Network-enabled hybrid cloud is not new concept though, if you are in the finance industry and under highly regulated circumstances. This will make your network into the part of private cloud infrastructure and leverage the secure private network to the public cloud. We may feel same as it gets rid of differences between private and public network.
You can block all services in public cloud nearly or completely from the internet world by having the network components supporting S2S VPN, MPLS, Private link, Private DNS, etc.
Because public cloud is by default ‘open to the world’, you may need to block everything (deny by default) and allow by setting up the firewalls and RT configuration.
e.g. your services will be severed in private and public kubernetes clusters and controlled by the load balancer or traffic manager. The database will be replicated between private and public and backup globally. The user won’t be able to know where they are offered but feel same quality of service.
