We commonly use open-source for studying, research purposes, personal use, or just trials when a few decades ago. But now many companies start to adopt open-source projects as their part of the business IT/Ops development (Typical DevOps configuration includes many open-source software)

• Open-source continues to update & meet the security requirement. (Lots of companies give up using open-source because they can’t meet the requirements from security, compliance, auditors, and regulators)
