ChatGPT (Attackers and defence)

I recently read two interesting news

The one new says that “less experienced cyber critimals could use ChatGPT to write malicious code” and the other new says “Security companies consider ChatGPT integration into their platform to enhance the remediation steps”.

Ironically, the attacker and defender try to use same AI platform to attack and defence it. You don’t misunderstand that this is not the weapon attack/defence mechanism.

The defenders in the weapon industry need to understand the exact algorithm of attackers. But in AI (ChatGPT), you will need to train your machine to understand your need, and based on the result, the platform works not exactly same logic flow. So it means using/understanding ChatGPT doesn’t mean attacker’s logic.

Reasonably, when you talk about the defence, the first thing you should do is to understand the attack’s perspective. Like the red team in security, red teams are offensive security professionals who are experts in…
